What the Community Host is responsible for:
Executing
Executing event using the BSB detailed Lesson Plan.
Inviting
Inviting guests to be a part of the Back to School Bash.
Registering
Registering guests and volunteers for the Back to School Bash.
Partnering
Partnering with local organizations and businesses to gain support and additional resources to enhance your event.
Ensuring
Ensuring all additional event requirements are met.

Backpack âś“ School Supplies âś“
New this year, we have partnered with the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation who is generously donating a school supply kit for foster and adoptive children. Helping hosts to provide even more love and support to their community.
Eligibility Requirements
To apply to be a Back to School Bash Host, your organization must meet the following requirements:
501(c)(3)
Be recognized as a tax-exempt charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
General
Submit only one host application during the open application period. If modifications are needed to an application already submitted, please contact JBFbsb@jockey.com.
Host and execute the Back to School Bash one-day event between July 25-28, 2024.
Event complimentary for all foster and adoptive guests and their parents/guardians.
Selection Process
JBF will review all eligible applications for consideration of hosting.
JBF reserves the right to adjust the awarded application and selection process without prior notice.
Organizations will be notified of any decision in writing via email or letter. All host application decisions are final.
Recipients must be a designated 501(c)(3) entity at time of host approval.
Timeframe
A decision on whether or not your host application will be awarded will be given within two weeks following application submission.
All host applications made are subject to review of the organization’s reputation and activities and its agreement to comply with applicable terms and conditions (as described herein). Submission of an application does not mean your application is approved. Upon applying for the Back to School Bash, you will be contacted with follow-up information and the next steps.
